Ph. D. Entrance : RAPT 2026

University invites application for admission in Ph.D. through Research Aptitude Test (RAT), followed by interview, in the following Faculty as mentioned below:

  • Faculty of Agriculture: Agriculture, Horticulture
  • Faculty of Computer Applications: Computer Applications
  • Faculty of Humanities and Science: Economics, Education, English, Hindi, History, Geography, Home Science, Fine Arts, Library Science, Yoga, Sociology, Physical Education, Political Science, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Mathematics
  • Faculty of Commerce & Management: Commerce, Management
  • Faculty of Pharmacy: Pharmacy (All disciplines)
  • Faculty of Law: Law

 

Eligibility: As per UGC Regulation 2022 
 

Note: - UGC – NET Exam Qualified Students will be given priority and exempted from appearing Entrance Examination.

Send duly filled application form and copy of certificates with a Cash/DD of Rs. 5000/- in favour of “Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University” payable at Dehradun at the address given below. Or online payment in account name MAHARAJA AGRASEN HIMALAYAN GARHWAL UNIVERSITY, BANK OF INDIA, DEHRADUN BRANCH, A/C NO. 705020110000379, IFSC CODE - BKID0007050 or in Cash at Accounts Office Counter. 

Candidates should send their duly filled applications with copy of testimonials and DD/ Transaction details/ Fees receipt by Speed Post at university address or email or personally.

Last date of receiving application form is 17th June 2026.

Dates for Research Aptitude Test are proposed on 28th June 2026, Sunday.
